Very helpful, easy to follow

I bought this book after learning I'd be doing work in Morocco on and off for several months. It provided a good overview of language, culture, and what to expect- all in a very witty and charming way. I would recommend this to anyone considering work, studies, or traveling in Morocco.

This book saved my life while in Morocco...

Well not really...but it sure helped a lot. I've used it as a study guide to learn phrases and the grammar of Moroccan Arabic (Darija). I was only in Maghrib for 3 weeks but I'm sure had I been there longer and read the book cover to cover while there I would have made much more use of it.

I brought it with me many times and when there was confusion with what I was trying to say it helped me to get my point across (i.e., M'femtsh: I don't understand/ Andak...?: Do you have?, etc.)

It also aided in my acceptance with the Moroccan people (which is not hard as they are a very hospitable people) as they got a kick out of seeing me desperately trying to explain myself while pointing to a phrase in the book. Here in the states, every Moroccan that has seen the cover of this book has had a nice laugh [Snhoo the Hell is Going on H'naa? ("snhoo" and 'h'naa' are Darija for "what" and 'here' respectively)].

All in all, if you are going to Morocco or are trying to impress a Moroccan, this book is a must have.

If you are looking for a study about marriage that will dig deep into the word and feed you more for living for God than just a marriage course on communication and having the best marriage this is for you. This study is unlike any other my husband and I have done. We are currently leading a small group through You and Me Forever and found such great insights and truths. I love how Francis and Lisa talk about marriage in light of eternity, literally! This excites us and makes us reevaluate how we are walking out our marriage and our lives for God.

It's not all unicorns, rainbows and positive happy endings for the poor cats in this collection.

I received a free copy of The Dover Anthology of Cat Stories from the publisher in return for an honest review.

The Dover Anthology of Cat Stories has a whopping 29 cat tales within it's pages, that's a lot of cat stories and who doesn't love cat stories right?

I have to admit I was rather disappointed with this collection. I did enjoy a couple of the stories but the majority just didn't appeal to me. I love cats and I enjoy reading a good cat story but many of the stories had a very negative view of cats. Add to that the fact that some cats were either injured/killed in many of the stories and you can understand why a cat lover wouldn't find them enjoyable.

Lets be honest, it's cat lovers that a book like this is going to appeal to, so please keep in mind that it's not all unicorns, rainbows and positive happy endings for the poor cats in this collection.

A delightful anthology of 29 cat stories. It is an excellent variety of cat stories . Some of the authors were a surprise to me as I would never had thought of them writing cat stories. If you a cat lover, this is a must read!

I truly enjoyed reading about life after death for pets

I recently purchased Brent's book after the passing of my beloved Italian Greyhound Petri. I truly enjoyed reading about life after death for pets. I found it most comforting and she anwswered many of my question's regarding where he goes after here. I believe in reincarnation of people and life on The Other Side. Reading her book brought to life what happen's to our beloved pets when they pass and confirmed what I believe, love never dies. I am so happy I found the book as well as her Face Book page. This is a terrific read and will be my "go to" playbook as I navigate through a tumultuous divorce. I knew my ex was angry and selfish, but this book helped me recognize that his issues are much deeper and more troubling than I ever realized. I discovered that he fit the profile of someone with Narcissist Personality Disorder. As I read some of the examples Ms. Loomus gave, I got shivers up my spine. They were so similar to my own nerve-wracking experiences with my ex. This book has given me new hope. Now that I've identified the problem, and learned some great strategies, I'm determined to not just COPE with my high-conflict divorce, but WIN it, as the book's title suggests!

Every judge and lawyer must read this book! It will change the way they proceed in a divorce!

I had to borrow the book from someone else because I still haven't received it!! I ordered it on April 20th. Totally unacceptable! After I ordered it I discovered that I did not buy it directly from Amazon! I did not realize this. Let the buyer beware!

The book was fabulous! So much useful and true info. I only wish that I had read it sooner into my high conflict divorce! Every judge and lawyer needs to read it. Too much assumption on their part that one is dealing with two rational human beings without personality disorders in a divorce situation. This just isn't the case in many divorces.

This book is a very useful tool for anybody with children going through a divorce. The author weaves her extensive knowledge of family law with personal experience and examples. The result is a step-by-step explanation of how a divorce progresses with insights into managing a combative ex-spouse. It’s a must-read for all single parents who put their children’s needs before their own.
